Announcing: CBT - Critter Battlers Tournament

I feel like I've been driving my followers angry with my endless BBS yapping and not enough art & game-related content, so here's a silly little WIP. I'm trying to make a Digimon World Championship ripoff while the Horse Race Test meme is still milkable as most people won't know the difference anyway. There'll be a betting mode and a proper tournament mode where you'll have to train up your critter for upcoming tournaments. Maybe there'll be more... I'm still toying with ideas here... All I can guarantee is that no real money will be involved because there's nothing I hate more than spending money on anything.

Everything works fine to the naked eye, but due to what I call "a violently unapologetic Game Maker Studio 2 moment", a lot will need to be worked on under the hood so that it doesn't run like garbage on browser. Like all my game-related creations, it'll be out when it's out.

And now for the life updates...

I've had to shelve and scrap projects haphazardly over the past few years due to an unstable financial and housing situation. Now that I'm re-employed and slowly getting back on my feet I am in the process of being kicked out of my house. It's the end result a ridiculous decade-long family squabble that doesn't make a lick of sense so I'm not going to get into it.

Long & short I need to leave where I'm living as soon as possible and could use any support that's available. If you're willing to support me on Ko-Fi I'd really appreciate it and of course I'll give a commission in return. But even if you can't do that, I'm still grateful for the fact that you guys even give me views, follows, favorites. All support is good support. I've gone back & forth on opening up my Patreon. But I think I just prefer Ko-Fi when it comes to financial support... Maybe someday.

I've been trying for years to find time to work on an NG Zine and hopefully if my housing and financial situation can stabilize then I'll be able to return to working on a project I've had sitting on the backburner for at least 2 years now
