http://pole.sega.jp/ When I was first shown this site it was only a countdown clock. And it was a picture of an 8-bit mushroom, kind of like the ones off of Super Mario Bros. so I expected a Mario/Sonic crossover. But when it finally came out (in Japan) I find out it's some corny cowboy crap, "Pole's Big Adventure" who'd play a game with a name like that anyway? And I think a few of the characters aren't even 8-bit. I hope this game has the same fate as Alex Kidd. I know I say this for everyone that a Mario/Sonic crossover would've been better.
I love videogames especially old school games. I've played almost every classic and I love making parody's of it in sprite animations. If you do not like Sprite animations please go watch actual drawings on another place or at least give it a chance.

u kno it may be surprising but i agree with u in a way. i think that games outside of sonic(other sega games) are not as good as sonic. Sonic is watt is keeping sega alive with its games like The new ones coming like black knight, shadow the hedgehog 2, and sonic the hedgehog06 sequel
It may be no suprise to you, but Sonic is no longer made by SEGA, it's made by a branch by SEGA; Sonic Team. And if Sonic Team stopped forcing SEGA to make a new Sonic game (for Sonic Team to distruibute and say they made it) every month it would give them more time to work on other non-Sonic games. And the movie liscenced video games (Golden Compass, Shrek, etc.) and Virtua Fighter games is what's keeping SEGA alive.

It's in Japanese :P He doesn't shoot poles, his name is Pole. And I doubt any good parent would allow their kid to play a game featuring a main character named Pole.
