As you know, the Pokemon anime series has finally drawn to a close. Ash has finally beaten the Sinnoh League and was able to crown himself Pokemon Master. In my opinion the final episode was a terrible one. In fact, in the episode of Master Quest in where Ash and Harrison battle, Ash won and he, Misty and Brock decide to go their seperate ways to fulfill their dreams and entering Pokemon: Advanced. This season where it started to go downhill. Ash only caught a single roster worth of pokemon, and not even by actually catching them, but by asking them to be his friend and go on adventures together, but I digress. The final episodes of Master Quest should have gone like this:
After Ash beat Harrison and Ash won the Johto League, Misty kissed Ash on the lips but quickly backs off and says it was just a reflex. Brock states how sweet of a couple they would make. Ash and Misty blush then yell at Brock in unicen that they're just friends, Brock chuckles. After a scene transaction, we would see that Ash and company is in a pokemon center, in front of a video phone being congratulated by Gary, Samuel (Professor Oak), Tracy, and Muck. Delia (Ash's mother) barges in front of the screen and tells Ash about the Elite Four challenge and how only trainers who've beaten the Johto League can enter. Delia tells him that the Elite Four Headquarters is in Viridian city and Ash and company should see them on their way back to the Kanto region. Since he beat the Johto League, he also was able to get a first class fligth back. As the plane flies just above Kanto, it gets hit (but not to the point of crashing) by a gigantic mecha Crobat, who after being struck by Pikachu's thunderbolt reveals itself to be a painted winged bike flown by Team Rocket, Jessie and James. Ash quickly assumes they wanted to steal their pokemon and he tells Pikachu to thunderbolt them more. This makes Jessie angry since they didn't even know Ash was on the plane so they board the plane and attempt to steal the passengers' pokemon while Meowth struggles to keep the bike up. Instead of fighting, James goes and looks at the selection of reading material in the back pouch of a plane chair. He reads a brochure about Hoenn region and all of the exotic pokemon that exist there. Ash, Misty, and Brock use their pokemon to fend them off and Jessie grabs James by the ear back to their flying bike. Pikachu hits them once more with a thunderbolt, destroying the wings on their bike. Misty points out that the bike's left wing was on fire and the other had a hole int it. Brock stares as they fell and worry about safety of them. Ash's eyes well up somewhat and he says that he hopes they're okay and he's sorry for all of the times he's blasted them off. They show a short montage of all the times they blasted off in Pokemon Master Quest. The scene switches to Jessie, James, and Meowths' perspective where they decide that if they ever want to capture Ash's super-strong Pikachu, they will have to catch an even stronger pokemon. James shows them a map of Hoenn and repeats everything in the brochure. They run to the nearest payphone and beg Giovanni for enough money to fly to Hoenn. Instead, he tells them to go to the Ovaline City harbor where they'll be personally escorted there. They don't realize he was being sarcastic and they actually go. They're dissappointed to see the boat isn't there and they go beg Giovanni even more. It annoys Giovanni to the point he breaks and sends a boat for them. Returning to Ash's story, they've finally got back home. Delia, Gary, and Samuel are at the airport waiting for Ash, once he comes out of the plane, Delia comes and hugs Ash telling him about how proud she was of him. Ash decides to take up the Elite Four challenge, but Gary demands a battle with him first. A one-on-one using only their first pokemon. Ash beats Gary's Jolteon after a long, uninterrupted battle. Gary shakes Ash's hand and tells him how strong he's gotten over the years. Gary hails a taxi, Ash asks where he's going to go, Gary tells him that he's going to go train and become stronger to kick Ash's butt the next time they battle. He waves bye to everyone in the taxi and shouts his catchphrase, "Smell ya later!". Brock decides to stay back and help Professor Oak with maintaining the pokemon in the Box (and to flirt with Delia). Misty tells Ash that she'll go with him to cheer him on and Delia says that they would make such a sweet couple and laughs. Ash and Misty shout in unicen while blushing that they're just friends. On their trip to Viridian City Misty asks Ash what he plans to do after he takes the Elite Four challenge. Ash doesn't really know so he just says that he's going to train and become a pokemon master like he always wanted to be. At the Headquarters, Nurse Joy tells Ash how the Elite Four are four trainers more powerful than any gym leader he's ever faced and he should be ready for a challenge. She suggests that he buys some Max Potions and Revives, but Ash is overconfident and tells her how he doesn't need anything to beat them. Before entering, he takes his strongest pokemon to the battle; Heracross, Muk, Charizard, Typhlosion, Tauros, and of course, Pikachu. His first opponent, Will, the Psychic Elite uses Alakazam to defeat Ash's Muk in only two Psybeams. Ash switches to Typhlosion and defeats all three of Will's pokemon after. His next opponent, Koga's Weezing and Arbok are defeated by Typhlosion, but by this battle, its tiring. Koga uses his Muk to defeat it. He switches to Heracross, which is defeated quickly by Muk's Toxic. Ash switches to Pikachu and peppers Muk with an endless barrage of Thunder. Muk absorbs the shocks but this leaves him otherwise inert. Pikachu tires Muk out by using Thunder without stopping. Ash reaches his third opponent, Bruno. Since Pikachu is tired from all of the Thunder attacks it was throwing, Ash decides to use Charizard. Bruno started out with his Machamp. Ash sent Charizard to attack Machamp with everything he had, but whenever Machamp was close to fainting, Bruno would give him a Max Potion. Ash tried a different approach and made Charizard use Wing Attack on Machamp. This was unsuccessful, as Machamp would grab Charizard's wings with two arms, then he pummeled Charizard with Mega Punch. He sends out Tauros which is a bad type advantage. Tauros is defeated quickly. Ash then sends out his weakened Pikachu. Pikachu gives it his all and defeats Machamp by using its newly learned Zap Cannon. Bruno switches to Hitmonlee. It defeats Pikachu in a battering of Mega Kicks. Ash is out of pokemon and lost the Elite Four challenge. Before exiting the arena, Bruno tells Ash that he can't always rely on pure power to defeat his opponents. That sometimes a good defense is a better offense. And how he should use health restoring items when in a pinch. Misty tells Ash how she's sorry that he lost, Ash tells her not to be. As Ash leaves the Headquarters he hangs his head down in shame and doesn't speak to Misty. Ash heals all of his pokemon and he goes and sits on a bench in the town square. Misty sits next to him and asks what is he going to do now and Ash tells her that he's going to go train, just like he told her earlier. They stare passionately at each other then kiss on the lips once more. Ash pulls back and blushes and says that it was just a reflex. He says that he'll catch Misty later, which makes her sad. He waves to her and walks off in the distance. The screen fades to white and shows the end credits from Pokemon Red version. But the series shouldn't end there. Pokemon Advanced would still exist, but Ash gets replaced with Brendan. A quiet, mopy boy who just wants to be alone. He meets May, a cheerful girl who encourages him to get his trainer liscense and become a trainer and after him beating the Hoenn League they decide to go to Sinnoh thus making Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

TL;DR: Everybody wants to be master!
Everybody wants show their skills!
Everybody wants to get there faster!
Make their way to the top of the hill!

Each time! You try!
Gonna get! Just a little better!
Each day! You climb!
One more step, up the ladder!

It's a whole new world we live!
Do-do-do, Do, Do-do-do!
It's a whole new way to see!
Do-do-do, Do, Do-do-do!
It's a whole new place!
With a brand new attitude!
But you still gotta CATCH'EM ALL!
Be the best that you can be!

Do-do-do, Do, Do-do-do!
Do-do-do, Do, Do-do-do!
Pokemon Johto!

P.S. this isn't copypasta.

even the tl;dr was tl;dr

Jesus christ.

FUCK YOU

Not right now.

that alt ending would be better

Also, Brendan and May would actually catch pokemon, and not ask them to be their friend and they'd catch more than five pokemon and they do not release, like every pokemon they catch.

I already have a NES emulator.

I read a few sentences.

Also, did Ash really EVER catch em' all?

I watched the original as a kid. We were all Pokefags.

Nope. He caught, less than 20 from the first season to Master Quest.
