A fine little flying animation. The shading reminds me of a DOS adventure game. I think the snakes are a little stiff, but the eyebrow movement is nice.

I know tumblr turned this into a meme but I'd like to see how he'd look with a slightly red nose, to go better with all the red in his color scheme. Nevertheless it's a really good paint & rendering!

You've got a foggy, otherworldly, dreamlike artsyle that I really like. Your use of pinks & purples gives off an innocent-yet-grotesque sensation that I can't describe accurately enough. Keep up the good work!

I love how you mix gradient shading with hard cel-shading. It's good stuff!

Thank you!! I used to only use gradient shading, then I learnt to use cel-shading for simple works... And I started mixing them when I went back to full illustrations!

Review

The character design is nice and original, but many of the sprites look sloppy. More specifically the ones in the middle.

None of the sprites have a real light source, and the palette you chose looks more like the MS Paint default colors. If they're not, they're still very unpleasant to look at.

Really, I think if you used more vibrant colors for all of them, it would improve the entire thing.

Review

By resizing it ans saving it as .jpg, you ruined the quality of the image as pixel art. Considering that you admittedly didn't make the sprites or the background, there's not much else to criticize about this picture.
