I like it when you draw lanky characters. The right is a very fun & interesting pose. I'd like to see some dynamic shading in future pieces, but from the looks of your steven universe pics you've got a good understanding of shading already!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate the compliment and the feedback :) Shadows/lighting are definitely a weak spot for me, but I am working on trying to get more comfortable with it!
I love the simplistic design. She's shaped like a friend.
definitely go over to the designer's page to tell them!
You've got a good handle on color for a beginner.
Consider doing some side-view sprites before doing a frontal view. The sooner you break the habit of drawing the characters with hands behind their back the better your art will become.
tfw 4years since i started pixel art but still beginner ;;. thank you for the tip ill work on that for my next sprite
Cute character. I like the color scheme but I think you should try to use a uniform-colored outline so they stand out better from the background. I hope to see more of your work in the future.
Thanks, I'll definitely mess around with that in the future and see if I like it :)
I love videogames especially old school games. I've played almost every classic and I love making parody's of it in sprite animations. If you do not like Sprite animations please go watch actual drawings on another place or at least give it a chance.
